A very good evening to you all...

Has anyone ridden Andersons in the past few weeks?...i see that it was closed for sometime a few months ago and has recently reopened.

Have the bulldozers and clearers been at work and flattened it like they did with The Oaks? Particularly that couple of k's of gnarly downhill to Bedford Creek..is that still the same?

Cheers

Tom

Its wide and smooth from the gate at the top and was quite sandy when we rode it. Unfortunately all of the interesting "almost single track" has been bulldozed. Such a pity - it'll take years to recover!

Yep....it is now a wide trail and practically a road all the way, certainly not the appeal it had previously. The steep descent is a fast standard firetrail with some softer areas only....but it does make it easier to climb !

Bugger! Any waterbars at least?

Here's the status history for Andos:

It's nice to add updates when you ride to keep this current.

Cheers Smiling

So, alternatives to tack onto an Oaks ride?

Anyone done Linden Ridge lately? The out and back can be done departing from Woodford followed by a run down the Oaks making about a 60km ride including a decent amount of singletrack.

Not sure what state Linden is in though? Last time I rode it would be 9 months ago, and the firetrail had plenty of waterbars, but the singletrack was quite overgrown.
