Brake Pads

A bit lost on which brake pads I should buy… I moved to disc brake not long ago :/
I've got a GT Sensor 3.0 2011, and from what I can find on various websites, I have apparently what's looking like Shimano BR-M445, which needs B01S pads. Am I right? I can find these on Torpedo7, are these so rare?

They seem to be quite common. A simple search of "B01S pads" brings up several Australian on-line shops that sell them.
And yes they take the B01S resin pads. The same pads fit the M446 and some of Shimano's mechanical discs too, so they're not that uncommon. Two of my local bike shops (Perth) sell them for about $25, but I ended up buying online from overseas as they were $9 from a German retailer. It only makes sense if you buy a bunch of other stuff at the same time though, or the postage on just a couple of pads makes them as expensive as buying locally.
Try Disco brakes. I've been using them for the last few years and find them exceptional for the price.

Yep. Good value.
Just make sure you get the right compound. The M445 calipers are usually matched with RT51/53 rotors which aren't hardened so should only be used with resin/organic pads, as sintered/metallic ones will wear the rotor very quickly.
I put sintered pads on my resin only shimano discs and they work brilliantly, orders of magnitude better than the originals. Im happy if it chews the discs quickly as I can pick up replacements for the price of pads. I used cheapy eBay pads which are great but really noisy in the wet
Shimano says, "The RT51/53 rotor should be used with resin pads. If it is used with metal pads, the rotors will wear very quickly". The RT51/53 rotors are entry level, and in Oz are only used as OEM on new bikes, can't be bought as aftermarket, and they aren't hardened steel like the rest of the Shimano range.
Of course there's nothing to stop you using metallic pads, and I'm sure the braking would be better, but just thought the OP should be aware of the consequences...
It may be easier to just take the bike into a proper bike shop & say "I'd like some new brake pads for this please Mr friendly bike emporium keeper".
I found that the pads from the older twin pot XT are the same as Hope M4s and an unusual Magura model but this isn't often known...
