I might come out for a pedal Craig, my fitness is awful, so i might go with you guys for a bit then set my own pace, dont want to hold you guns up!
Cool Todd, Looks like we'll be doing this grabbing something to eat then checking out scribblies
Yeah Todd I will be there for the Scribblies part... so come for that too.
Flynny do you know what time you will be up at Scribbs?
Mate I'll try and pin down a better time with Chris. I'm guessing around 6? Is that too early for you?
I'm all good whenever... I just need to advise Joey to check that he is able to make it.
Scribblies sounds good to me too.
Cant wait for this, go easy on me you guys, been doing a lot of maintaining and not a lot of riding!
Cant wait though!
Craig,
will meet u guys at the top of berghoffers, in the car park, will bring lights for scribbles!
see u at 1pm!
Sounds good.
We'll be doing our usual of stopping to regroup regularly + mucking around for photos and what not.
I'm just getting bike and lights togther... going to test them now. Had the worst case of chainsuck kick in suddenly last ride... chainring is like sharks teeth.
Im probably out, gotta see our conveyancer, selling our house, going to be there a while i thinks, pretty sure i wont make it on time!
Have fun without me..unhappy!!!!!!!
No worries Todd. Will you still make Scribblies?
I have my lights on charge, i hope so, it just depends on getting a jp to witness signings, and then a trip to parramatta to see the conveyancer, only chance is tomorrow, missus working, me working etc etc, if im not there when you turn up, go on without me, i will ring Mark if i know i can make it!
Is the 27th the right date?
Well I was thinking it was next week... but I will be there tomorrow at Scribs probably around that time anyway. Tried the lights out today for the first time this year after pulling them out of a box and doing some resoldering.. they worked fine, bike sort of worked fine with a bent chainring and then I pinch flatted... and went stuff it.
Hey Todd, where you moving too... not too far out of area are you?
Yeah 27th. Not today
I will be there next week, my god my brain is letting me down, so next week, mt york-joes for lunch/coffee-then onto scribbs for night action?
Only problem with Joey's for food intake is the Red Door might be closed by the time of the day when you get up here after riding Mt York, I think it shuts at 4pm. Your loss, as damn his food is excellent.. he is an even better chef than he is rider.
(NOTE Edited due to terrible english that gave the wrong idea to Flynny)
Serious. I'd heard Sydney restaurants are doing it tough but this side of the mounts they seem to kicking along.
That such a shame
Damn I wrote that wrong.. I meant shutting up for the evening. Red Door is pumping, Joey looks weary but satisfied with his turnover. He is definately busy and producing the best cafe food in Leura by far. It really is quality restaurant food at cafe prices.
He isn't riding anywhere near as much as he wants too either and is always looking for an excuse to get him out for a ride.
I can attest to that, the red door is always packed, so happy for him, downside is he gets out less and less, but the ocean trout is to die for!..his coffee kicks arse too, if he lets you pay for it!!!
Craig,
are we all good for tomorrow?, i have lights charged and ready, cant wait to ride Mt York, love that place, just gotta drag my fat arse up the climbs!
Giles and I will be at Scribblies from 5pm, so we'll catch up for a lap.
Cool, the flow guys had to pull the pin because their photog is crook but I'm still keen so meeting at the bottom of Berghoffers at 1 and doing the rides as planned.
See u there mate, what about weather, looking pretty bad over here!
Suppose to clear. I'll be riding anyway
All is good, will see u there!!!!!
Well I will be up at Scribbs either way for that part of the ride unless its really pouring (which it doesn'took like it will).
Day is looking brilliant, lights are charging, i might meet u Craig at the top of berghoffers, i might avoid that climb to keep myself going for the whole arvo, fitness is very bad!
Can you pm me your number please mate, mine is 0431 024 976
Text us an update on your arrival time at Scribbs... I may go up early and meet Chuck and Co there, and if you end up there earlier we can all hook up. My mob is 0419 164 528
just gearing up now
Thanks for the ride today Craig, had a blast, struggled with fitness, it will improve..i hope, got way too cold to ride scribbles, was shivering in the car!
If you were cold Todd you only would have got colder... was pretty nippy out there tonight.
Had a fun ride however.... all the more fun for me because I didn't have to climb out of Lawson's Long Alley!
No worries was a good day. Rydal tomorrow at 10 if you are keen. Less hills, fun trails
Great to catch up tonight guys. Funny that you didn't look to cold in your car Todd.
Rydal. Hey Todd, we should book in a BMORC ride out at Rydal as it been two years since we went to Lithgow.
I'd be in for a BMORC rydal at Rydal... (oh hohoho!!!)
I got a fair cold now, in the bloody chest, thinking of getting Craig and crew to come down and do the trig ride.
Was really dissappointed not to ride, but i was cold and struggling, was sopping wet from walking up hills!!!!!!
