Worthwhile? Any good?

Ps went looking for a gym for the week and found a forum that said

The only gym (jim) I need in Bali is next to my beam and coke

the ride seemed to be a mix of fire trail and road riding.

Probably a good day out cruising through some villages and bush. I decided to do something else instead.

Met some Singaporeans on Gondola in Queenstown, NZ last Christmas. They were good riders with nice DH rigs, mainly custom Spec Demo 8's. Somewhere Indonesia has awesome DH trails that they go to. Don't remember them mentioning Bali.

I rode it last July with Infinity. As Simon said it is mostly fire trail and road. There is some single track, in parts it can be very loose and gravelly. I'm glad I did it, was interesting, I know that they have a few other trails over there to, but I only did volcano trail.

Would love to visit Nepal and do some of the rides that Infinity offer over there.

The day trip is fun. It is mountain rolling as you head from the volcano down the back roads and some fire roads. you stop for some great food and get to see the country side at a much slower pace. It is a good day, just don't expect single track.

Yup.
Did it last year and doing it again September with Infinity Mountain biking.

As with all SEA companies, their products and services can vary vastly. These bikes were near new and in perfect condition.
Mates who have used similar companies said they feared for their lives riding their bikes.

As for Infinity's route. Very good. A mix of everything. Nothing black diamond of course, but a few narrow paths with cliffs etc. Overall a great way to see Bali.

down to Ubud.

Even better is one starting on the slopes of Agung above Besaki all the way down to Padang Bai.

Better still if you like downhill are a series of tracks from the mountain to the west of Bedugal down to Bataruti. One of them is the downhill track which someone recently told me is going to be used for some sort of Asian downhill final later this year.
