G'day Guys,
My team mate and I are in need of a 3rd male to make up our team for the Nowra round of the Chocolate Foot 7hr series.
The round is obviously in Nowra, at the Coondoo rd tracks - we rode here last year and the trails were awesome and flowy.
Late notice for the 4th August but hopefully someone out there wants to race.
The cost is $60pp + $20 if you need a day licence.
We came 2nd in the last round in male 3's (fairly thin field in 3's up at Taree to be honest) and are hoping for another good result, but really just need another rider so we stay in our category for the series overall. We're pretty laid back, we'll have a couple of beers Saturday night and ride our bikes in the bush on Sunday - keen for anyone to join us.
We are driving down Sat morning for a lap in the arvo and to camp out - carpooling is possible. We're leaving from the lower mountains.
Contact me through this post or PM of you are keen.........
Cheers,
Ian

Is it going to be a pairs event for you Ian?

Not anymore Mick.
Mr Pidgeon from Lapstone has jumped on board - he said he met you out on the track recently
We really want to stay in 3's for every round and go for an overall result in the series.

Cool Ian, he'll be great for your team. Good luck with it.

Hey guys thanks for the complements! Looking forward to it, hope I don't let the team down too much! Got to get through Rocky Trail Rollercoaster tomorrow first!

For some reason the race doesn't come up in the BMORC calendar and the blog entry doesn't appear - here is my write up if you're keen to read it.......
Thanks Pidge for stepping up, you did well mate.

Double post.....

Well done team BMORC. I certainly wouldn't have let you past on the single track either Ian. Smiling

Good one Ian! I'm glad to be part of the team, however briefly. I relished the opportunity to experience single track racing. Although happy enough with my times, this racing highlighted for me so technical aspects of my riding that needs improving. I guess fitness could be better too!
