Glenbrook National park and the oaks closed all weekend

Rode in the park today. Noticed lots of prep going on. Found out this is on: http://kathmanduadventure.com.au/event-entry/

Checked the national parks and they list most areas as closed...

Oaks Firetrail will be closed 2nd and 3rd August 2014 (Ends Sunday 3 August) The Oaks Fire Trail will be closed to bicycles and vehicles from the turn off to Euroka on 2nd and 3rd August 2014 due to the Maximum Adventure event being held in the park. The road to Red Hands Cave, and Nepean Lookout will also be closed. Locations affected: Jack Evans walking track, Glenbrook - Nepean lookout, Woodford – Oaks trail

Awesome!! thank you so much for posting this - a few of us were all set to do The Oaks tomorrow- and I stumbled across this.

Thanks! what a pain in the a** that would have been- looks like we are doing Kuringai Chase instead
