Hi all,

I'm looking to get a 2nd hand fork, so that I can offload my current one (REBA RL) to my hardtail built.
I'm tossing up between the 2 forks, SIDs are more expensive but lighter. Fox is cheaper, heavier though but better internals according to my mechanic mate.

Anyone have experience with either forks and can share their preference ?

Cheers,
Mario

I have a 2015 SID RCT3 and love it. I've always had Reba's before and like them but the SID feels more plush and responsive. The extra adjustments make the process of setting them up a bit long but once you've got it sorted, you'll be glad you spent the time. They did take a while bedding in, the first 3-4 rides felt quite harsh and small bump compliance was poor but by the 6th outing they were spot on.
I've never used any Fox forks so can't them, sorry.
