A rider already? Eye-wink

Fancy sharing a car ride?

rubba's picture

Could do, but unless you want to come down my way to pick me up, it might make us later than 12pm to start.

LadyToast's picture

I'll be there close to 10:30.

And I've done more kms there than anywhere else, so I better come along to make sure you don't miss any good bits. Could get hot being near Penrith, bring lots of water as there is none nearby.
John.

Will be great to have you there John.

Just be aware it will be a social ride tomorrow - no training allowed Eye-wink

See you there

I've heard about your training rides Shocked besides my thighs already hurt.

Great ride today guys, what a great track. I can't understand why we don't do it more often. Glad we made it through
the day without getting bitten by all of those brown snakes we heard all about.

John, I think we will have to accept that we can't do social rides Smiling

a very social ride we stopped and chatted a fair bit and took pics, it's just that we were wringing wet with sweat. (or wwwwws)
I also had a great ride with so much time for fun compared to race day. I did one more lap with Cath, David and Scott before leaving.
John. Smiling

I enjoyed a social pace Smiling The Yellowmundee single track was great, thanks John for leading us around.

I discovered a few areas to improve on, I need to look further ahead when riding to avoid target fixation, also have to work on my breathing when climbing, and finally that I need to take my index fingers away from the brake levers as I have a habit of hitting the brakes entering a corner when I really don't need to.

Carlgroover's picture

It's good to have a finger on the brakes as they're often needed real quick. The track we did today has many blind corners and you just need to ride that track more to learn it.
John.

Come on John, show of your tech skills and post some pics up Eye-wink

Yeah fellas that was a great ride.
There weren't any snakes. why would we even want to mention them to scare any other nobmobers off from doing it with us next time?
That ride is a waaay better ride for starting out than Oaks would ever be.

thanks again.

Pics? Vids?
