Not Mtb but still the most impressive thing i've seen on two wheels in a long time!

Link to M7 cycleway?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I'm working with another cyclist at East Ryde for three weeks just off Epping road near Pitwater rd.
we were talking about going for a decent road ride after work and talked about the cycle path alongside the M7 as we always do hills and dont get to spin the legs properley.
is there a link(or a safe way) to get from Epping road to the M7 cycle path that anyone could let me know about??
Cheers,
Gazza

i already have custom lights which i'm very happy with and have a custom helmet mount and just like to keep them on my helmet. I use my first generation ayup lights for road riding but find they're not quite bright enough when going at speed along dark roads. I've been looking at getting some magicshine's for my bars but seeing as i've got 5 ayup batteries and bar mounts on all my bikes plus head straps for camping i was toying with the idea of just upgrading the ayup itself to the current model. Anyone got any info on how much brighter the new models are compared to the old ones?

after drinking rather a lot of beer on saturday i didn't know how i'd cope doing a xc race on sunday morning but i turned up anyway just to have a crack at it and if anything, it would be a good training ride.

after a long break over the xmas period and well before that from mtb racing i was itching to get back and race on the dirt.
i've been doing a lot of road racing over the summer months ( two races a week for quite a while before xmas ) and it certainly paid off today.
i got a good start near the front and held my position without slowing any faster riders up. my plan was to go flat out from the start and just keep going as fast as my body would let me, if i slowed to a snails pace at the end then so be it. but it wasn't to be and i just seemed to keep motoring.

just a thought about a future trip. does anyone have any good links or info on quality mtb trailers? either one or two wheel, behind the bike type.
i know i've seen Rob (alchemist) pulling a keg of beer at last years fling with one.
any info would be great.
thanks,

in frustration of not being able to find a set of magura brake pads for the enduro, i decided to have a good clean out of all the pockets of my camelback. the one in question is a mule so it has a fair few pockets and compartments within the pockets. within two minutes i'd emptied various zip lock bags and pulled out many sticky gu and powerbar wrappers. low and behold i had a massive amount of folded bank notes and about half a kilo of gold and silver coins. the total....$111.90 BINGO!!! enough to buy a couple of sets of pads and enough change for some refreshing alcoholic beverages!

i've spent all night getting the epic ready for the mont, swapped the gears over from my enduro in prep for the 24 solo's. stripped everything and put mr new whhels on( xt with xtr rotors) the brakes the rotors are going on are juicy ultimates, now there's a massive problem in that the wheels wont turn as the alu spider in the middle of the rotor which is riveted to the outer steel disk is catching on the tabs of my brake pads. it's late at night so i havn't looked at it properley but it might be a simple adjustment issue. if anyone can shed some light on the issue that would be appreciated.
