Oaks Evening Ride

When:
Friday, 15 February, 2013 - 19:15
Ride Database Entry:
The Oaks
Meeting Point:

Woodford train station (south side carpark)

21 railway parade, Woodford, New South Wales

An evening/night ride down the Oaks and back up by train or whatever. The train up the mountain gets in about 7.16, I will be coming down from Hazo. Sunset is about 7.45 so bring your lights! Train at the other end back up the mountain from Glenbrook is at 9.13 which should give plenty of time.

Won't be race pace at my fitness level, just a social ride

If we don't get enough interest for tomorrow night I might shift this to Saturday if people like

CWORBC - Kinross Afternoon Race - Last week with daylight savings

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
When:
Thursday, 4 April, 2013 - 18:30
Ride Database Entry:
Kinross State Forest
Meeting Point:

The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.

Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.

-33.269312,149.16427 (Bulgas Road carpark)

The format will be based on the most amount of laps that you can complete in the time period.

This makes it easier to manage the daylight we have and gives everyone the same length of fun and effort.

When the time expires you can finish the lap you're on. This is the same as the 6/8/12/24 hours enduro format.

We will start the race at 6:30pm *SHARP*. This is to ensure we have enough time to finish the race before dark. Please be there by at least 6:15pm to register (earlier if you need a day license (ie. a non-member)).

Points will be added over the summer to find the overall results for the weekly racing summer series. You don't get any points if you don't come!

We'll have open male and female categories as well as juniors.
Juniors of 13-18 years are welcome to participate too.

Weekly racing will be happening throughout summer so it will be worth your while becoming a member so you don't have to pay the $20 day license each week.

Cost is $5 (+$20 for a day license if you aren't an MTBA member).

Please bring your MTBA card.

If you wish to become a member it is easiest for you, us and MTBA if you apply online. See the membership page for details.

  • Register Time: 6:15pm
  • Race Format: 45mins, as many laps as you can
  • Course: The race loop course will be decided closer to the date.
  • Cost: $5 (+$20 non-MTBA members for day license)
  • Excuse: none accepted

Hi all, Pony club are doingf a bit of maintenance around their ground and have asked for help.

The plan for the next 2 weekend is to refurb of our canteen and if we can get some bodys there to assist it would greatly help to strengthen the relationship between the two clubs

1. Take everything out, eg cupboards, stove, kitchen sink, everthing!

2. Rip up the flooring

3. Paint and seal it

4. Rebuild

As simple as it sounds we will need some help. We hope to have helpers on the following days
