Hey, heading up Coffs way on the weekend and tossing up the idea of taking the bike. No doubt there are trails up there, anyone have links to maps or the like

Rides near Bendalong

I'm taking a week's break at Bendalong (south-coast, half way between Ulladulla & Jervis Bay). I'll be taking the Jones & doing as much riding as I can sneak in. Anybody know about any good rides down in that area? The town backs onto Conjola State Forest.

Speak of the devil, just after putting the snake safety post we came across our first snakes of the season. Not on the bike, we'd ventured down to one of our favorite swimming holes for a picnic. Been visiting this spot of more than 25 years and took the camera to do a bit of lizard spotting as there are lots of Cunningham Skinks and Water Dragons but I've never seen as snake here before.

The weather is warming up and those of us cycling in the early morning or late afternoons are sooner or later going to see a snakie

Nice article about the facts and what you should do if you do see one here

I have a 7 year old son, who is really getting into his bike riding. Does anyone know of any organised XC racing for young kids?

Average age of mountain bikers

Does anyone have any statistics on the average age of mountain bikers on the Northern Beaches, greater Sydney and NSW. I am sure there are some stats around?

The Warringah Survey made me think of this?

MOGO ride options 1.5 hours only

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Howdy,

I'm down in Batemans bay and i've heard the Mogo singletrack is awesome! No where near as good as tathra but still pretty awesome. Every map I find on the internet shows the Angry Doctor 50 and 100 km loops. I do not have time to do a 50 km loop tomorrow..... so I was wondering if anyone knows a 1.5 hour ride in Mogo which incorporates some of this sweet singletrack I hear so much about.

Cheers

Simon
