Remedy carbon

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Thought this thing deserved its own thread..........
After having more frame problems with my last bike, Trek at Rouse Hill managed to source this 2011 carbon Remedy frame as a warranty replacement (didn't even buy the bike off them originally). Most of my parts bolted straight in, but I needed to buy a front derailleur and BB.
After thinking long and hard, I decided that 36's were the go and forked out for new TALAS FIT RLC 160's.

Hi-Vis BMORC Shirts?

What do you guys think about the idea of Hi-Vis BMORC logo shirts?

Havent done the math or got a quote but would be roughly looking at $30 per shirt for mininumum of 30 shirts.

To save on screen printing costs it would be best to go with one colour (Blue).

This is for any of those Muni riders - pic

Saw this pic on Rotorburn of a crazy single wheel brigade rider doing the big rock on Boulder Run at You Yangs.

This rock is a lot higher and steeper than it appears in the pic.. its supposed to be like riding down a wall. Most people(ie me) take the b-line which is relatively gnarly in itself.

So how does a muni go down there at what would be high speed and not die?

A group of 8 riders from Newcastle have planned to ride the Anderson/Oaks trails on Sat 25 Feb. The plan is to travel down on the Friday Arvo (24 Feb), ride at Lake Parramatta in the early eve, stay overnight at Penrith, have a few beers then do the Blue Mountains ride on the Saturday.

SS sprocket

Does anyone have a 18 to 20 tooth sprocket lying around they don't need? I want to change out my 17 tooth to make the big hills a bit easier.

Cheers

[Mod. moved to chat as this relates to a local request for help]

Hill Classifications

Can someone enlighten me on hill classifications 1 to 4. Is it the higher the number the lesser the grade?

Awaba Team Mate Needed

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

G'Day All,
After having bike dramas and thinking Ill struggle to front up to the Awaba 8hr I got lucky and got the bike back and running sweet. Then one of our male 3's team members has a stack, breaks his foot and is out for at least 2 weeks and possibly 8.
If anyone is keen to join us for a run, let me know ASAP.
I'm planning on running consistent low 40min laps (with some high 30's hopefully!) and our other team member will be in the mid-high 30's. But we're just there for fun and wont be at the pointy end.
