Cross Country
Lidsdale Social/training ride
From Lithgow head on the Western Highway toward Bathurst. After 10-11Km you will head uphill and see thick pine forest to the right. It's dual carriageway here, and there's a right turn across the other lane into Forest Ridge Drive (signposted and a sealed road). About 50m on the left there's a turning where you can park in the shade. There's also an old concrete section of the highway just past there with masses of parking.
Group training ride around the forest while it's still there
Scribblies By Night
At the trail head.
A dusk/night ride.
Hopefull the weather won't be too bad.
Will have a few locals there too.
Easy Sunday Morning @ GHS (slow pace)
End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.
I have yet to ride the sniggle+springwood ridge but I'm getting the impression its a little tough. But anyway, I dont imagine it being worse than climbing up bees nest hill.
Plan on riding a figure 8 (Shaws Ridge, Blue Gum swamp, sniggle, springwood ridge, look out, down bees nest hill, BlueGum Swamp)
I have also invited some beginner friends. So pace for this ride will be slow.
Thought I would post it if anyone else would like to join in.
Oaks one way
Glenbrook station carpark. Meeting there for the first train at 6:53
Never done this track before so just seeing how it goes. Just riding with another mate, so more the merrier
Yellomundie slow then faster
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
A few laps of Yellomundie.
Looking to take the first lap slow through the technical sections having a few goes where necessary.
After this have a couple of quick laps for some for some good old fashioned fun.
All are welcome and feel free to ride faster or slower as you wish, its hard to get lost at Yellomundie. On the first lap I will make sure no-one gets left behind (I usually come last anyway!). My 15 yo will probably also be along, but somewhere up ahead on the track.
If the weather is looking dodgy the night before I'll make a post to say if its still on the night before.

Ok as logging has been moved forward 12 months and we need to get out of there by November I thought we'd do one last hoora.
So the plan is to do a lap or two of the big loop in the morning (one forward one reverse would be good)
Bring a packed lunch or duck in to town to grab something.
I'm then going to do a bit of a clean up of the trail (pulling in bunting and signage) then head out for a loop or two on the southern side of the highway.
All welcome
