Junior Social ride
The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.
Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.
Drive out from Orange on the Ophir Rd, before you reach the rubbish tip, turn right onto Bulgas Rd. Follow this about 2km to the forest (the road turns to gravel).
Note that the 'Directions there' google maps link below may not give the best route/destination. It seems that google maps ignores Bulgas Rd when selecting a route and gives the next closest spot. The 'Meeting point' link should be correct.
A brief kids ride.
Up the fire trail, walk in the park, dead pig dam, berm me up scotty and back down to the carpark
Riley's mountain trail. Fairlight road . Mulgoa.
Trail Head is at the end of Fairlight Rd, 2km of dirt road.difficult for fwd cars if raining sometimes. Alternative Park place at beginning of gravel track.
Alternative meeting locations can be Mulgoa Shops and Mulgoa Park
I'm a beginner. I'm going whether its a thunderstorm or not. Sometimes I have to walk downhill cos it looks too scary. Sometimes I have to walk uphill cos it's too steep.

From the highway come into Rydal, cross the train tracks and take a left before the Pub (Showground signposted.)
Trails leads out either side of the show ground to the north
After the big storms through summer Rydal needs a bit of love to get it ready for the 3hr
Meet at the show ground at 10. Have food and water and appropriate footwear and clothing.

At the nursery on the corner of Halcyon and Hawkesbury Rd.
Out to Grose Head South via a bit of sniggle and some fire trail. Prolly head down Bee's Nest Hill, through the swamp and out at Whitecross Rd.
