Is this beyond the joke?

Your only allowed to have sex with a condom as long as its a Durex. Well not quite but close enough

Fellow Mountains Man Lincoln Hall passes away

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

The news has filtered through of the death of Lincoln Hall from mesothelioma, he was a very recognisable member of the mountaineering community, famous for his miraculous escape from the clutches of chomolungma(mt everest), while descending from his dream summit in 2006 Lincoln was overcome with exhaustion and cerebal edema, sherpas tried for hours to drag him down, managing to get him below the 2nd step, it was here at 28000 ft that Lincoln spent a night in the open.

Free seat to Awaba Sun morn

Hey guys,
I'm heading to Awaba early Sunday morning for a few laps with Craig on his new rig. I'm driving up, leaving my place in Winmalee at around 6:30am. If any BMORCers are keen for a ride, I'm happy to give you a lift up if you either drive to my place or are in Winmalee or on the way (i.e Richmond etc. I normally head through Richmond, Annangrove, Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills to F3).
We're looking to do a few laps to decide whether we want to race the 8hr in a few weeks.
Cheers.

Lock The Gate Alliance- Rally against coal seam gas mining in the Blue Mountains, Sunday 16th October, 2011.

I know a lot of BMORCers and others will be hitting up the Kanagra Classic on Sunday 16th October, but if some aren't, or there are lurkers who are looking for something to do, this is a worthy rally.

Here is some info on coal seam gas mining.

Runkeeper Website and App

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

http://runkeeper.com/

A fantastic website and app (not required) that can compete with Garmin. And its FREE!

Yes i have a Garmin and I can upload my garmin results to Runkeeper also.

Just like Garmin Connect, runkeeper will map your route and show you a variety of results and stats for your activity.

My Favourite part about using this app is every 5mins it will tell my via the phone speakers the distance traveled, current speed, avg speed, avg pace. These are all optional plus there are other voice readouts you can choose from.

Red bull top 50

These are the top 50 photos
I can choose a top 5, but hard to pick a fave
May have to go for the guy on the Slovakian rock face

Reminds me of last years Banff film of that dorky but incredible rock climber
Had a minor freak out freeclimbing half dome in Yosemite (I think it was half dome)
No ropes, mistake = death, standing back to the vertical face on a sliver of rock less width than a kerb and asking himself 'what am I doing here'

You no longer need a wheelbarrow on track days

Track days will be so much more fun and productive if you had one of these!
