Not an official dig day as such as neither Phil or myself can get there this weekend but there is plenty to do if you have some time over the weekend.

The whole trail needs a rake. If everyone could pick a section and just rake off the sticks and leaf litter and sand out of corners it would greatly help.

The smaller branches that have begun to over grow the tail in some spots (regular riders will know where you get whipped in face or across arms) can be trimmed back. also think about sticks and thing to the side of the trail that may be in over taking spots.

Phil is doing some trail maintenance tomorrow (Saturday 10th) and if you can lend a hand it will be greatly appreciated.

Basic things such as raking the trail and trimming branches to get it ready for the up coming Sheep Stations race.

Be aware that back burning is taking place in the far Northern reaches of the forest today so we will need to stay out of that section (basically end of Diggs out to highway) until given the all clear but the rest of the trail needs a good clean up.

Once given the all clear from forest NSW we will need all hands on deck to fix up the burnt section.
