You are here
Blue
Southern Comfort
Meggsies Maze of Maddness
A nice way to finish the Big track or the middle section of the Twilight and Darkness trails
3 Men and a Chain Saw
While the log that gave this section it's name is still there and you can challenge yourslef by trying to ride it in reverse, a change in our SF permit meant we had to pull the up ramp down (No permanent structures), A fun section none the less and a tough climb out
Acid bomb
This was one of the first DH trails we raced at Lidsdale state forest and originally extended all the way down to the fire rd (and beyond, bottom section is still there and has a nice step down to berm but it's over grown and last I looked had a tree across it.)
From the bottom you have the option of going left and following the original Twilight trail out the the fire rd or right into "3 men and a chains saw"
The Captains Army
From the end of Sniggle Valley head up the road and look for the start of this one on the left before the intersection.
Some rough exposed tree roots keep you honest through here
Dead Zone and Sniggle Valley
From the top of "Brams Bendy Bits" head left into the "Dead Zone" and then around into the swooping fun of "Sniggle Valley".
A nice sustained down hill run with enough bumb and humps to keep you smiling.
Sheep Dip
Haven't used this section in major race for a while.
A nice rough run down into the gully followed by another punchy climb up to a small dam
Jump of Doom to Upsee daisy
Now days the Jump of Doom is more of a simple float over step down rather than the intimidating double it use to be.
Float the jump or take the B line then it's a nice roughish run down a fast section of trail. Hit the big sandy right hander and it's across the road and into the switchbacks.
a bit of flat trail gives you room for a breather before heading up the other side
Gazza's Gully to Jump of Doom
Either cut across from the end "Egos not a dirty Word" or from the top of the "Clover Leaf"
Gazza's gully is a fun little run with swooping berms which dump you in the gully then throws you at the brutal little climb up to the Jump of Doom
Enduro loop (Far Loops)
Some really nice bits of trail but best to avoid in the wet as it can get boggy in through Jurasic Park
