BMCC Open Space Survey
Council is developing a new 'Open Space and Recreation Strategy' for the City of Blue Mountains.
To be able to make good decisions for investment in the future maintenance, planning and development of open space and recreational facilities in the Blue Mountains we need good information. A great part of this survey is the recognition of Mountain bike and Cycling trails.
Mountain Biking in the Blue Mountains is still very new to council and lacks almost any funding despite the fact its been and active recreational sport for over 20 years.

Welcome to the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service Visitor Activity Survey--Mountain Biking!
We need your help!
This survey is part of a broader visitor activity survey testing new methods for gathering information to help us understand our visitor needs and preferences, and to inform experience development and management planning in our parks.
Mountain Bike Park Feasibility Survey
The purpose of this survey is to determine the sustainability of a not-for-profit, fully facilitated Mountain Bike Park operated in southern NSW.
The initial plan for the mountain bike park would consist of single track and cross country loops to maintained downhill runs and free ride terrain. Flowing machine made and technical runs, accommodating from beginner to expert abilities. An all day shuttle/lift service will be provided for riders back to the top of runs for continuous gravity fed riding.
The park would allow for weekend camp stay and provide shower and toilet amenities.
