Hey all,
i bought the 10mm through bolt converter for my 9mm QR proII rear hub.
does anyone know how to perform the conversion? are there instruction somewhere?
i am very mechanically minded, so i'm not paying the LBS to do it, unless i absolutely have to.
thanks

Just put one in my rear hub and it was pretty straight forward. I used an assortment of things as substitutes for the proper tools so if you have a little bit of mechanical skill youll more than likely find what you need lying around your garage. If not , Mr Delicious will no doubt have the tools for the job and may help you out. They are also pretty cheap to buy from CRC. As for some guidance, there is a video on the Hope website in the technical section(I think) about rebuilding a rear pro II hub which is pretty much the same procedure as installing the bolt through. After looking around for info, it seems that the main mistake people make is not seating the plastic seal properly so be aware of that. I used a blunt object to gently push it in wheras the hope video uses a special driver.
