big locked gate next to the Linden Observatory.
not real big on the notices for the whys and where-fores though.

this is very nice tarred road, so it must be water board, SCA, catchment are above the East lip of the dam.
I'll chase this up soon.

this gate is the start of the Glossop Rd red line on the SCA map.

signage is on the way, email said it's okay to cycle past for Glossop Rd access past the SCA area.
still, no access down tho the dam, but why would you ?
