Diadora shoes

Anybody got any experience with Diadora mtb shoes? Wide / narrow? Big / small / average lasts? Durability?
T7 have them on special this week and they have one in a size 50 that might be what I'm looking for to replace my ageing Lake MX101's. I have the Sidi's for when I want to look or feel like a serious rider, but I need something that I can walk about in a bit without feeling like I'm going to roll an ankle or wear out the precious plastic sole.

Tien has some, but I have a feeling they look quite slim. They do from the product pictures on T7 anyhow.
Those carbon sole version[1] would be a nice buy, but not sure my fat feet would fit

I've got fat feet too. My Sidi's are a 52W and are actually a bit big - good for winter and thick socks. But they suck to walk in and I like a pair of shoes that I can do a bit of rock hopping in at the end of a trail, or I'm OK to walk up steep hills in - or wade across the odd river - hence the well worn Lake MX's. They are size 50, were a bit tight new, but the suede stretches OK.
These are the ones that I had in mind -

they look a bit clunky, but have some desirable features:
1. available in Euro 50
2. are built with some walking in mind
3. no mortgage required (unlike the Sidi's)
4 did I mention they came in a size 50??
.... I tried a pair and while they were fine length wise, the width was just too slim and squeezed my foot. I normally wear specialized. I have heard they are the same mould as Cannondale, but could be wrong. That said, I was trying the carbon soled race shoes and the Torpedo7 one's may be different in width.
i bought a pair more than 2 years ago, except for a bit of scuffing, there is no real issue with them with regular use ( usually 3 times a week). They were bought from CRC, carbon soles but no problems with walking (perhaps i don't walk that much, so i have not noticed with the stiff carbon soles).
They are excellent fit for my fat, flat feet. Every foot is different of course.
I highly recommend them but as always buying shoes online is hit/miss issue. Buy at your own risk.
Tien.
....Diadora shoes as well, I had a pair for about two years, a lace up type, they were a size 43, I now have Shimano shoes also a neat 43 only changed brand as the Shimano's were on special.
Would buy Diadora again
