Re: This ride meeting:
BMORC Victory lap

8.30 am..Jeff and I set off on our adventure to the great unkown that we call Scribblies, first is a rendezvous with Andrei and Ian, after completing this job and making sure that we have Ian this time, it's time to climb, and off up into the clouds we sail forth with the promise of sunshine and sweet singletrack!
On arrival at our destination there are a lot of Bmorcee's waiting to get started, this looks to be a great roll up, it looked like it was going to be a fast day, what with Kingy expelling propulsion out back, it didn't smell like jet fuel or rocket fuel, more like dodgy vindaloo!...I was beginning to wonder why Kingy was putting big gaps into us, nobody wanted to get close!
After getting going and everybody warming up several things began to happen, the author wanted to check some plant life up close, so i chose to hit a root and go face first to have a closer look!!..Dirt tastes very nutritious in Leura!!
Some notables were beginning to shine, Vince was running hot( i would to with those slippers), Giles was showing style through the singletrack, Jeff was climbing like a mountain goat, Kingy was getting funky by doing a 1 handed wheely up a rough and steep hill, we then forgave him his bottom troubles, Mark was showing us 1 gear was enough, Andy was having a good old time at the authors expense, it's your turn next time Andy!, Ian was doing it very easy on the berms and jumps and rock rolls!..And then there was Ben and Emma on the Santa Cruz blurs, they seemed to ride like blurs too, fast and furious!
After riding 1 lap forward it was time to do a reverse lap, we were going allright until somebody took a wrong turn sending everybody hurtling down the wrong hill...hehehehe, when we got up to the midpoint and then headed down to the moto part of the track, Andrei and yours truly bravely took on the challenge of riding the complete downhill, only problem is what goes down must come back up, and the 2 of us looking like we had been through ww2 bravely climbed back up to meet Mark and the gang, when we got to the top a few people had to go making it a much smaller gang, so we decided to head over to Rod's track to do some descending and some north shore and jumping, first we had to clear a rather large log roll, funnily there seemed to be somthing wrong when we looked back on some comedy of a fawlty towers nature, starring Jeff, Giles and Andy?..fun times was had by all, it capped off a great day at this wonderful track, thank you all for coming!

I blame your cooking of the Tandoori marinated Lamb we ate last night for your flatulence. It is not often I drive with the windows open at 2 degrees C but this morning was an exception. A bit of jealousy on my part as I had a massive bowel evacuation before leaving home which left me with no ammunition with which to combat the evil King Bowel.

Much fun was had again, love Scribbly's and the group we are getting started. It reminds me of some of the editorials of Richard Cunningham in Mountain Bike Action.

What's happening next weekend?
