Niiiice...

Councillors voted at last Tuesday’s meeting to accelerate work on formalisation of mountain bike tracks — one specifically for downhill — in Knapsack Reserve.

The riders successfully convinced the council to prepare an assessment of the site in four months rather than 12.

The $24,500 works are already budgeted for as part of the Knapsack Reserve plan of management and riders have agreed to provide volunteer labour where needed.

Downhill riders all over Australia, start talking to your council today.
Prove to them that sustainable downhill trails can be built to international standards, cost effectively and can be maintained by volunteers.

Lets keep the momentum up, regardless of discipline!
