Soz, had to start a new one to attached stuff.
See a couple of examples
Ignore the design of the one with the black collar (unless you like it) ... just picture the other front and back designs with the black collar and maybe cuffs
In case it doesn't appear very clear.
Front design
Tim's BMORC with riders ... the the Blue Mountains Off Road Cyclist blurb underneath it ... in a "breast pocket" sized badge / logo
Back design
Same BMORC Rider ... with the whole BMORC blurb a la Mog's business card.
I've also asked for a poo brown version, as I thought the Blue maybe a little dark
let me know what you think ...
More importantly what size.
(if you could give me both the usual size Medium, Large etc ... as well as
i) Collar in cm
ii) shoulder ... get your loved one to measure end to end ... or your fav Tee.
iii) hem to armpit (not sure about this one, but pffft more info the better)
I'll average per size.
Note:
- logo's will be embroidered.
- Shirts are coming from Asia ... read, smaller sizes ... so I wanted to provide them with dimensions to make sure. Last thing I want is to get 60 shirts for Midgets ... not that there is anything wrong with that.
- I think it will be a looser cut ... although I don't mind the current one.
still looking at cost. ... hoping for under $30 shipped.

My only though is using the BMORC with rider twice on the shirt could be an overkill...
What about what you have with the rider currently on the back on the front without all the sustainabilty text or .com stuff. Then the back basically what you have on the last image, ie all the BMORC, sustainability and web address?
I do really like the pocket logo approach too however.
Must say the more I look at the BMORC rider logo thing the more I like it. Looked great on the report too.
Will get some dimensions measured...
I like the top two pics idea, with the small print on the front and a bigger more detailed print on the rear.
I definitely like the designs. Like Mog, I think having the "rider logo" twice may be a bit much, and I agree with his sentiments of having a large rider logo on the front, with the BMORC blurb on the back.
I'm just about to head out for dinner, but when I get back (or more likely tomorrow), I'll measure up and send them through.
I'd probably go for 2 jerseys. One smaller XC based one, and a larger one to fit over armour & padding for DH.

I have a different opinion to those stated.
Front: I like the pocket size logo on the front but loose the text beneath it.
Back: I like the middle design with the logo and all the text beneath it.
Nerf, I'm a little confused. Are you looking for a one size fits all (average size) or would you order on sizes requested?
Are these cotton t-shirts or sports/riding shirts?

I like the shirts the they way are. Text is need on the front, otherwise "what's BMORC?" will annoy you after a while. And the rider on the back adds a third colour which finishes it off. Plus it looks good.
Not sure I would go with embroidery with a logo that big. The newer screen print system is nice and the resolution will be better. If you do go embroidery, make sure you get it digitized and then a sample made. Some digitizers are crap, plus you want the file. (OK OK, I did this for the local soccer club and I don't want this kind of information in my head
)
Tim, you might want to make sure Nerf has a good resolution file.
A small make XXL will normally fit me, but I'll get the measurements.
Could you consider getting the jersey's in a brighter colour - yellow or orange or that yellowy green. The brighter colours are easier to see if riding on the road (to the mtb trail of course).
A lighter blue maybe. Would rather stick with blue for the theme BLUE Mountains.
I haven't saved a higher res logo yet. Will do so soon.
I have a friend who works at a screen printing place, she made me several t's for my dads 50th B'day. I think she charged me around $20 per Black polo, colored neck, shirts with white print on front and back. could enquire about other materialed shirts, digitizing prints, colours etc...
My only problem with a lighter blue is that it could look a bit too much like a netball team's shirt, or a school kids sports shirt.
I personally like red because I figure when I fall or pass out from snake bite in the bush somehere I will be more visible... though by this logic we should be making them pink... so forget that.
Really any colour that the blue rider dude stands out nicely on....

BTW, the Blue above looks a lot like the colour of a Sky Vodka shirt I have... free in a bar - you know how it is
re design ... I'm with Mike ... I was thinking you need the blurb on front, mainly because most of us will have a camel back on ?? ... and also with out the full blurb ... new peeps won't know what BMORC is.
re embroidery ...
the practical reason for the embroidery is that I don't think the place I'm with has access.
Similarly, I noticed the jersey I have now with ink is fading .. and when the lady justified embroidery to me, she hit the it won't fade button.
My experience with embroidery however, is that its itchy ... bah .. I'm getting some samples so we'll see.
re: dimensions
Tim, no ... not a one size fits all.
But if I get a few people with each size (M, L, XXL etc etc) with differing dimensions ... I'll then average it per size
From memory, Filo sizing is about 2 sizes down ... so where I'm a medium here, I think I need to get XL, or a tigh fit L.
re: colour
I'll stick with what I have for now and show you peeps the samples when I get it.
I've also asked for a Brown ... which doesn't look bad. ... I thought darker colours would be more practical re mud ... but we can explore other colours post samples
I may also get some long sleeve samples as well.

I'm going to lock in the samples
But if peeps (more peeps) could give me sizing that would be useful for my final order.
Note: if the samples sux, I'll look into screen prints or just Tees as a first off. (prolly White or a lighter Blue)

Do they cater for larger mens sizes?
I may get away with a 3XL
rather too loose than too tight
i like the bike rider on the back for a t-shirt
And front for a jesrsey
i would prefer a t-shirt

been a bit of a saga ... but samples are currently being made and all that jazz.
I've managed to get Digital printing instead of the embroidery ... but need a high res of the BMORC rider.
And the BMORC rider with the Blurb.

Hoping it will be here next week ... I'll give the samples and sizes to Mog ... or can arrange an actual ride for those that want to try them on.
Pricing turned out a little more then I thought depending on how many people are interested. (approx if >30 pieces each style then $29ish ... if <30 then prolly $45ish
so I need Pre-order details (once you've tried it on ... uhmmm I guess)
Note: The manufacturer made them standard (whitey) sizing so you should be right to tell me what your normal size is when ordering
LoL, I'll take a 4xl in Whitey Size please. If we get more than 30 orders or need one more to make 30 I'll also get a 3xl in Whitey Size
Hope everyone likes the logo, I'm looking forward to seeing it on a shirt.

Let me know when the samples arrive so I can try some on! I'd definitely be in for at least 2 - one for XC & one for DH. Maybe even a 3rd just for wearing around the place pimping BMORC.

Whats the material like?
The rider logo came out well.
I'm not 100% sure if thats the t-shirt or jersey
the jersey is in a textured (dimpled like) fabric which they call drifit (polyester) ... I sent them shizz loads of links and stuff from adidas etc so pretty sure it will be a good wicking material.
the Tee will be cotton ... can't remember if I did blue or white ... they may look very similar in the end. we'll see when they get here ... apparently shipping this week ... soz for the delays ... they work on Filipino time like me
Must say the logo looks really good. I like that a lot.
My only issue is the dark trim on the shirt... ok for a riding jersey but may look a bit daggy on a t-shirt... or will it look kind of retro and supercool!!
yeah looks a little like a bowling top ... still room to make changes ... the expensive bit was paying for the screen print templates ... and at least we are happy with that.
Re looking at the screen printed logo I noticed some errors, but we can maybe overlook them.
The back(his right) leg looks like its grey
The back foot((his right) seems to be in front of the front wheel.
The R from BMORC appears to be coming over his left foot
Picking up Tees from my Aunty tomorrow (don't ask, its a Filo thing).
Hopefully will get them up there (prolly with Mog) so you can have a try one for size.
There was talk of another meeting, but unsure where that is at.

I'm crazy with work this week, and Friday to Sunday I am in Canberra, but next week should have some time free.
saw some dh jerseys on the weekend they have sublimated iron on logos that are very pro looks like vinyl shiny you can put any graphic they pull it straight from jpeg
I will be bringing the sample jerseys to Tuesday night's Council Meeting.
I will have Medium, Large, XL and I think XXL (can't remember) ... no smalls sorry, but happy to adapt some for the Lady BMORCers or Kids of BMORC
There are a couple of different types of material, not that I could tell, with both a cotton Tee and riding jersey (short and long sleeved).
I will be taking pre-orders ... cash can be paid via EFT later ... will be $40 SS Jersey, $50 for L/S Jersey, not sure on the Cotton T yet ... prolly $30.
All profits will be for the BMORC Kitty (between $5 & $10 roughly per item)
I suggest we meet at the peace park or whatever the park is called outside council chambers.
