it seems he's no slouch in the saddle.
but it's a debatable marketing move. I wonder what Barack rides?
Sadly... not as cool as dubbya's:

Although to be fair, I've seen pictures of Obama on other bikes slightly less embarrassing... only just though IIRC
wow it all makes sense now.. I wonder if they ever did find any of that illegal single track that he was looking for in IRAQ?
but I suppose he didn't get much chance to ride an mtb in the middle of Chicago. Bet he could beat GW at a bit of one-on-one basketball though.
I'm just a bit pi**ed off that the week I get hold of my niner jet, it suddenly becomes associated with GW Bush.
Took it for a first spin today, around LCNP. Mmmmmmmmmmm.......
Big wheels keep on rollin', rollin' down the river, and up the river and across stuff that I struggled with on a 26" wheel bike. It's a low bar, but I "cleaned" the Devlins Ck track for the first time today. And how good are lock out forks? (excuse me while I catch up with the world). Great for out of the saddle stuff and rides like a scummer - or like what I imagine might be a bit like a summer - on the tar down from De Burgh's bridge to the weir.
Ground clearance is similar to the Prophet (i.e. good), but it feels more like I'm sitting "in" the bike rather than on top of it, if that makes sense. Handling is great on all the stuff I've been on so far. Yet to test it out on any proper tight sniggle, so might have to head out to Yellowmundie or Ourimbah for a spin before trekking down to Mogo. I don't think my training regime will be majorly up-stuffed by not tapering.....
Lach, where did you pick the Niner up from ?
