Dear Sir / Madam,

My name is I represent Blue Mountains Off Road Cyclist a not for profit community group made up of residents and riders from the Blue Mountains and Penrith region who are actively involved in the new mountain bike park in the Knapsack reserve at Glenbrook in the lower mountains.
Thank you for the opportunity to approach you organisation with a view to gaining assistance with our mountain bike project.
Our aim is to help with the funding of the signage at the park as a gesture of goodwill towards the council who are assuming the majority of costs associated with this fantastic project.
We would appreciate your help to raise funds for the project, we are holding a BBQ fundraiser at the Bunnings Jamison Town Warehouse on the 15th of Jannuary where we hope to raise funds towards the project.
We would like to hold a raffle on the day as an added opportunity to raise money, we are seeking your help with prizes for this raffle.
On the day we will actively promoting out generous sponsors who provide prizes for the draw and anticipate well in excess of a 1000 visitors to the store, so it us a great opportunity for your company to promote your caring attitude towards the local community and their recreation.
We are not asking for much, we honestly understand that these types of requests must cross your desk every day, but I assure you no matter how small a contribution you make it will be warmly received.
We can arrange to pick up any items, including gift vouchers, items or donations as is convenient.
All donations will go into the draw and the prize winners will be drawn on the day of the BBQ.
