Finished second in Men's 3's at Yellomundee, out of a field of five.

Found the heat tough to deal with. Temp was around the 40C mark, which isn't as tough as some have endured recently, but the humidity was challenging. Kudos to you guys riding solo and pairs.

The guys tell me the first part of the track they used today was unusually technical for Yellomundee. Had an almost OTB on the first descent there near the motocros track, but managed to unclip in time to save myself, but lost the Garmin 705. Sad Fortunately someone found it and handed it in. Smiling If you weren't at the presentation when I thanked you, I'd like to do so again. Lesson learned: fix the !@#$%^! mount!

Second and third times through there were a lot of fun. Smiling Starting to wonder about the Nobby Nic front tyre, though: felt very skatey on the last lap.

A great training hitout for the Mont. Thanks to Alan and Ian for letting me tag onto your team. Smiling Special thanks go to Hans for providing a lift and getting me home again.

Hey - glad you enjoyed the ride - it was a bit hot though!

The first section wasn't too unusual - areas like that get thrown in regularly. It's just a whole lot harder when hot.

BTW - that was a Threes Mixed divsion you were in, but we accepted any three! There was only one lady rider in that whole div (I know her well). We'll have to get more ladies out there this year.

Hope to see you out there for the club rounds starting 6 March.

Hawkeye, that's why I did this as the 305 has the same crappy mount.
