I'm working with another cyclist at East Ryde for three weeks just off Epping road near Pitwater rd.
we were talking about going for a decent road ride after work and talked about the cycle path alongside the M7 as we always do hills and dont get to spin the legs properley.
is there a link(or a safe way) to get from Epping road to the M7 cycle path that anyone could let me know about??
Cheers,
Gazza

I live out this way GAZZA & they been working on parts of it heading South of the Great Western Highway towards The Camden Valley Way , the best way to link is to jump on the M2 Roadway then hop off where it joins the M7 thru one off there entry/exit gates on the road then ride the pathway too Camden Valley Way & back that is if the path is fully open .

gazza, there is a stackload of closures o the M7 cyclewayat the moment.
list and maps here http://www.westlinkm7.com.au/maps.php
I ride the cycleway every tuesday night with a group leavig sunnyholt rd entrance at 6.15pm.
But to be honest i would stay away from it at the moment as the detours are quite painful.
If you still want to go let me know and will try and hook up and give you a tour.
