Time for some normal width bars?
Looks like an unexpected handle bar tap? Never ridden there but it looks tasty!
Can't wait for that kiwarrack weekend, looks like I'll be thankful for running xc width bars
are those trees regulation wide , they looked close , I better keep my eyes open tomorrow on my ride because there are a few tight ones like that too
The bars are only 685mm wide... but yes, the trail has been cut through narrow tree gaps in quite a few places to discourage the motos from ripping it up.
Managed to squeeze through on my second lap without touching, but if I had half a brain I'd have taken the obvious detour to the left.
Great trails. Hans and I are heading up there with our sons for the June long weekend. On one of the several wrong turns I took last Sunday, I discovered a really nice half-pipe gully that Dave the Trail Fairy has built a nice snaking trail down, called (I think) Dave's Gully.

Yep - done that. Ripping thru "sweet as" there are around 3 - 4 tree gap challenges. But happy to have them if it keeps out the motos. Thank God for Dave and the crew! You guys rock up there!!!! Im heading up there on Monday!!! Bike in tow of course.
