Meh, it didn't get really exciting until tomac came along in full lyrca and drop bars

I was delighted to find this film on a recent Qantas flight. It was tucked away in the doco's or something.

I still think those guys take more credit for MTB than they are really dereserving of, but good luck to them.
I wonder whether the movie will just get renamed 'Trek Bicycle Corp History' once every last one of them sells out..

I think you'll find most of them admit that off road riding sprung up independently in a bunch of different places at different times.

Hard to argue against an unbroken line from the repack riders to what we now call mountain biking though.

The constant modifying and upgrading the bikes to improve performance and one up each other...
