An epic edit by Scotty T

5 years ago the Central Tablelands Mountain Bike Club lost the lease on their downhill track up at the State Mine Reserve in Lithgow. This track was a part of both the NSW State Downhill Series and the Australian National Downhill Series. Since then the club has battled through thick and thin trying to find an area suitable to hold both State and National races again. Continued in first comment..

After 5 years of negotiations and fighting through a lot of red tape the club found an area to start building with approval from Lithgow Council, so there is hope on the horizon for downhill racing to come back to Central West NSW.

I would just like to thank the Club and all the boys for letting me have a small part in this. It would be great to see DH racing back in the area.

Here is an edit showing how far the boys have come thus far
