Hi guys,
Just about to get some race kings and having a bit of trouble finding the correct size.
Some reviews say that the 26x2.0 is really skinny, others say it's huge. Then again the 2.2 is meant to be enormous ???
Oh yes, and apparently they get wider after a couple rides too.

Looking for something the same size as a rocket Ron 2.1 or racing Ralph 2.1
Does anyone know which king would be closer (2.0 or 2.2)
Thanks

You need to compare the ETRTO

ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation): Standards organisation for tyre and rim sizes.

Nowadays, bicycle tyres sizes should all fall in line with ETRTO's (European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation) tyre and rim standards. Yet the older English and French tyre size markings are still used.

An ETRTO size marked 37-622 indicates the width of 37 mm and the tyre inner diameter of 622 mm. This designation is clear and allows an unequivocal match with the corresponding rim size.

NOTE: Always reference the ETRTO number when ordering to ensure accuracy in tyre fit.

Inch sizes are ambiguous and lack accuracy. For example, the diameters 559 mm (MTB), 571 mm (Triathlon) and 590 mm (Touring) are all designated 26 inch. Tyres with diameters 622 mm and 635 mm are both designated 28-inch, yet, surprisingly, tyres with a diameter of 630 mm are designated 27-inch.

Race Kings come in 50-559 and 55-559 case width.
Racing Ralph are 54-559 in the 2.1
Rocket Ron's are 54-559 in the 2.1

I will let you figure out which one would be closest.

That did it. All making sense now. Just ordered some 2.2 kings
Cheers
