Even with the mud, it was the most fun I have ever had at an event. Can't wait for next year.

Good to see you rode through the middle of the puddles. I was surprised at how many people got off and walked around ankle deep water. There were a few that were too deep and I would get half way and get bogged but it was still faster if you only have to walk the last half.
The finish was a bit sad seeing the last finishers come in after just about everyone had packed up and gone home.
I would love to do a 50km race that took in all of the single track and missed the muddy fire road. It would have to start at the other end which would probably make it impractical.
agreed on the people walking around the ankle deep water, there were plenty of people doing that, very annoying and SLOW!!!
