Ok so my Joytech rear hub is well past its used by date.
So I think I would like to invest in a lighter tubless wheelset (for $400) and found that the Fulcrum Red Metal 3s look like they mean business.
They would be used on the 26" Trance with 15mm front thru-axle. 9mm QR on the back!

I have a set on my hard tail XC bike with quick release(can take 20mm), and while they are light and nice to ride with.(i ride with people who have 6 inch travel bikes)
i find they flex alot and through the spokes, more than the standard 318 mavic
I broke a spoke once and the wheel imediatly buckled, long nervous ride home
i also find i need to adjust up the retaining collars on the bearings constanly
But they are easy to service, and look great and definatly make riding up hill alot easier
I'd be interested in what others have experienced

Have you thought about Hope hubs laced to Stan's rims? My set with Stan Flows have been faultless so far on my Nomad.
With a lighter rim like the Crest it would be a pretty versatile tubeless wheelset that can be converted to any axle.

I've got Fulcrum 1's on my dually, and after almost 4 years of big hits, they haven't even needed truing up.
Also very easy to spin em up tubeless.
Recommended.

i have sets of rm3 and a set of rmzeros, they have been nothing but awesome on my bikes and the zeros are almost indestructable on a xc bike, i broke a spoke at the start of the 50/50 last year and rode the whole race like that no issue and wheel was still straight, last years c2c the rd took a spin in the back wheel and it didnt even break a spoke, just sctrached one a bit.
I personally highly recommend them, grat to true if needed great and very easy to service but spokes are expensive on the zeros as they are proprietry only part, mind you their a $1000 wheel set.

I just purchased a set of Stan's crest rims laced to Stan's hubs tubeless ready weighing a light 1420grams form TBSM for $575.
So far very happy with them.
Those same wheels are under $400 at wiggle or crc with a discount code.
i have one on the back of my trance X3, they make a cool noise freewheeling, and ..............thats about it, i bend it or break a spoke every time i go around manly dam, not enough of those fancy flat spokes on them apparently, the standard front wheel has outlasted it two to one . but, a cool noise ...
get an XT race wheelset you can get them for ~$350 for a front and rear set if you shop around.
They are strong and reliable, mine are still true after almost a year.
Gone for the Shimano XT788 - Trail Wheelset. $400 on CRC.
Wider rim and standard spokes not a problem.
Was out riding along going up hill when the freehub went crunch to pieces.
Its less than 2yrs old so I might try for warranty.
Anyone had similar experiences with the XT788 rear hub breaking up?
CRC has accepted under warranty the return of the rear wheel and I have received replacement today.
