Well... I think this is meant to be an ad, but it's one of the best 'adventure sports' short clips I've ever seen...

I'm not happy, I just bought a GoPro 2, Wifi back pac & Remote plus other mounting accesories all within the last 2 months. Wish they would have gave some more warning before the GoPro 3 was released!

Atleast the App is finally out

Not least of all has a great front still for the start of the movie!

Yes, recently bought a Hero2 so a bit sad there but that's technology for you.

One thing I will say, in order to get a really cool video like this, the actual filming is the easy bit.

There is many many hours, at least for an amateur like me, in editing the videos.

In order to get the really really cool slo mo's you have to use software, from the small amount of reserach I have done, Twixtor, which I think is an add on for an actual software package is a good one, but all this software is expensive and probably takes some learning too.

..It'll all be available in AU soon enough. I can't wait to get my hands on one. Looks like it will do a good job of doubling as a family home movie camera. That's how I'll justify it to the missus anyway. Smiling

That is just inspirational. I think I'm going to book a heliski trip off the back of watching that.

The footage in the barrel at Tahiti is outstanding.

Indeed - brings back memories of epic head-high-plus sessions at Tuncurry Breakwall, and at Elim's.

I don't miss the aggro in the water around Sydney, though.
