I use my daughters music stand to hold a tablet in front of the bike when I'm on the trainer but this $20 Aldi special would be even better, specifically designed to hold an ipad in front of you to avoid chronic boredom

That looks like a much better idea than using a 6' ladder stood up against a wall with an iPad resting on a step, which incidentally fell over and gave me a hell of a crack on the back of the head the other day when I was trying to set up the wind trainer which had been resting on the ladder (fortunately without the iPad sitting on it). Not a nice feeling at all.

I never get bored on my trainer.

I dont have time to.... I program the trainer with workout routines. It's constantly beeping and buzzing to let me know when to change pace, am I out of HR zone, sprint, recover. It keeps me busy, before I know n hour has gone by and I am done.

That and an iPod to relieve the the relentless noise.

Sufferfest Videos give you a great way to work out and relieve boredom whil on the windtrainer. The guy who creates them has a very twisted sense of humour, and it really makes you want to work through the whole session. At only $13 a video and with a dozen to choose from there is a good selection. Plus he is coming up with specific MTB and CX vids very soon.

Nice one Danny, I saw that too and was wondering what I could possibly use it for. Now I have the perfect excuse. Thanks Smiling
