See the calendar entry for more details, but this has now been confirmed as being on.

This would be some more work on the DH including cutting in an extra switchback reroute that was approved by the commonwealth and various grooming and tweaks of the DH trail in preparation of it being opened.

I will add any more details as I get them.

Once again for the late notice but we have only just had it confirmed by council.

Big thanks to Simon and Dirt Art for organising these.

Big thanks to everyone who came along and especially Simon from Dirt Art for providing the opportunity to do the day. Actually had very good numbers across all age groups which is really encouraging. BMCC were there and riders were able to have a good look at the finished groomed trail. They are now chomping at the bit to be able to go and do a full run down the hill. Seeing Simon do his final test run of sections just makes it all the more tantalising.

Just need the signage to go up this week and then the trail can be opened. Signage is for safety to mark the trail as single direction mountain bikes only so that there is no danger from a walker straying in.

Should be a lot of pictures of rock and dirt that can be posted from a lot of cameras today. Hopefully by next week pictures can be of riders going down! Looking forward to the first GoPro vids being filmed too.
