So, I've had my old DH frame kicking around for ages. Put it up for sale once or twice with no interest. So it's been just cluttering up my shed and as the young bloke has been getting more and more into riding and smashing rims and what not on the DH trails on his xc bike it's been in the back of my mind to build it up for him.

Going through some of the bits and pieces I had left over from the shop I realised I had most of the things it needed on hand.

Old rear hub was as bit of a gamble as the rachet was not picking up. I replaced the paws and spring before realising that spacer was suppose to be a bearing. New bearing in and hub was go.

Greg at Belly's bikes sorted me out with some Mavic 721 rims and spokes and a great price and Al from Pushie Enterprises looked after me with a set of Loaded AMX bars and Kodex strata stem and the old girl was ready for some shuttle run fun for his 13th birthday.
We even managed to con my better half to drive a few times so I could join the boys on a run or 6 and get the camera out to capture some of the fun.
