There is a results page the the world 24hr solo race that is in progress now http://www.durt.com.au/events/wembo2013/
it is being updated regularly and by the times there is some close racing in the early stages.
Having raced in 8 24 solos I so wish I was racing today

do you know if they are using the same tracks as last week?
I know that they are doing the std climb to the top and down skyline, and the luge there is a strava link on this rider info page http://www.wembo.com.au/australia/about/rider-in...
There is only one course which is 16.9km long, with 394m of climbing.
8 guys in the over 60 category. That's awesome!

Is so fast 168 kms in and his average speed is still 19kph on a lap with 350m of vertical gain in the dark, now he has a 6min lead.
Jason English is a machine.
Leading her age group, fucking awesome!
There are a lot of fast people at the solos but Jason after 355km and over 18 hours just did his last lap at 18kph.
Jess Douglas had a huge battle through the night but is back in the lead with a nice 16 minute buffer.
Sad to see Ed McDonald has stopped after doing so well (as always) hope he is ok.
Brett Belchambers leading Single speed and currently 8th overall!
Gary James at 52 yo is in 14th place overall and leading his race by over 20mins he's still punching out fast laps, I have huge respect for this guy who I chased at 3 Aust solo champs,
he always led the race the whole distance, to win the category and I came 2nd, he really deserves this world champs win.
Congrats to everyone pushing their limits

Great result for Mel, well deserved!!!
One of my riding buddies decided to do this. He ended up with a 3rd place in his age category (50 to 54). I am in absolute awe over his achievement. Did it all on his own, all training, no sponsors, half crappy bike and just got out there and nailed it. Legend!
Nice to see you on nobmob again you been in hiding? I havent seen you at a xc race for a while either
I've been lurking around the site, and haven't been racing at all.
I do get out on the mtb still but not near enough
