Hi all.
Since having my MTB stolen a few weeks ago, I have been on the look out for a new MTB. Due to higher priorities I haven't been able to buy one and it looks like this will continue in to next year.
I have a race coming up on 24 Nov, which I have committed to, however the MTB I was going to borrow from BLKFOZ may be required by him because he manages to break everything he touches (No offence mate).
Ian, Craig and Steve have done a fantastic job this year to be number one in the classifications and I don't want to mess with their record.

So I'm putting out a call for anyone who may be able to help out. A half decent MTB, hard tail / dually, one that I can ride for the week prior... asking too much?

Any breakages will be paid for. I live in the lower blue mountains but don't mind travelling a bit.

Cheers
Dutchy.

How tall are you mate?

I'm sure we can get you fitted on the Anthem, I'll be on the single speed again for this round.

We will probably just need to find a shorter stem and that should just about do it, for an XL it's not all that long in the TT and the standover should be ok.

I just need to get a spoke for the rear wheel and try get it true again which I will do next week.

Comm, Steve,
Thanks for the offer. I normally ride a medium frame, being 178cms.

Steve: It'd be great if I could use your bike. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to deal with the larger size for one race. Also it'd be easier to get the bike to the race as we'd be coming straight past your house.

Thanks again,
Dutchy

My Trance (20") is still available Paul.

Thanks Chuck.
I'll keep this in mind if Steve is unable to fix his rear wheel in time. I suppose if the frame is just too big also, I might need to take you up on the offer mate.

Thanks

Welcome to give my Yukon a go. Probably the most out of normal bike offered lol

lol, thanks Tim.
If Ian is able to keep his rear hub from destroying itself, then I should be right on his remedy. Otherwise I've got big Steve and Chuck lined up for emergency bike loans.

Thanks guys.

Paul.

By my calculations I'm up for 1/15th of any overall prizes...can't wait for my half-a-squeeze of chain lube!

Ha ha. I think that's pretty much all I'm entitled to as well. Had the intention of competing in all the races this year but haven't been able to make the rescheduled races either through injury or work commitments.
When I broke my wrist I managed to put a hole in the shorts I won with Ian and Craig at Taree.
