As per the title.
Merry Christmas to all, now more importantly, what did Santa bring?
I received a pair of XT pedals to replace a well worn pair of 520s

3 happy kids, each displaying peace and goodwill to others.
Had an early Xmas due to being on site through to 31 Dec but got a new Giant Anthem 27.5 1, 1 week before I had to come back here.
Hopefully when I get home there should be a new Hans Dampf front tyre, ODI rogue grips and a couple of new jerseys waiting for me to enjoy in the new year.
XT pedals, Mavic Razor shoes and a Park Tool Work Stand.
How'd you manage that, slowpup? I've got 3 happy kids (mission accomplished), not much peace ( that's cool with me...it's Christmas!), and occasional good will. 1.5 out of 3
Finally got a GPS/HRM for extra Stravatisation. Also scored a remote BBQ thermo and 3 seasons of Duck Dynasty! Happy days! Scooted off to Kowen the other day for a ride so my cup runneth over. Merry Christmas to all!
Now all you need is some front suspension
Oh and some gears
I scored a 650b front wheel and tyre, good thing my birthday's next week so I can get the full set
Cycology shirt
I'm just blessed, I guess? And after coming through a tough year they've a lot which they can reflect upon and be thankful for at Christmas.
John, 14 sprockets, two chains, suspension and a second engine room will soon be on the way from Colorado. Unfortunately the custom fork needed to go back to White Bros for a little bit of detail work so we missed shipping via express sleigh. Better three guys in Colorado sort it out before shipping half way round the globe than the alternative ....... the stoker won't be cleared for cycling until later in January anyway.
hawkeye, less is more. Except if your talking about fitness...then less is simply hard work!
slowpup, sounds like a great way to finish a year.
Btw, did anyone NOT get a cycology shirt? The BiL and I both got the same design and rocked up today in them. I looked waaaay better in mine.
I think this makes the tool kit almost complete.
Upgraded my roadie, maybe next year it will be the MTB turn! Very spoilt girl I am (thank you to my hubbie)
A hangover and 8 extra kilos to work off.
Nice work on the three from three pup, I'm with pancakes on the count, about 1.5 from 3 but all is good.
As for the T's, yep i got two as well and Sarina was saying she was packing about 300 a day leading up to Christmas so it would seem they are a popular gift.
A Triumph motorcycle for me, Allthough I picked it up a week before Christmas. But Chrissy morning had a 106 km ride for me on my Roadie.
A nice new Fox RP23 & Shimano Zee shifter set along with clutch rear mech, single front ring chain & cassette.
After recently sorting out the forks & bar/stem the rest of the old Enduro's getting a much needed update.
661 Recon helmet and 661 Raji gloves, as well as some Tifosi sunnies which were meant for my other passion (rowing) but will probably get just as much use on the bike
Healed knee ligaments and a decision to defer knee joint replacement, so able to do an Xmas day ride on old trails, and finding old unused ones cleared of debris and undergrowth by prescribed burns
Oh yeah, permission to get a new S-works Epic or upgrade the old one
Roll on New Year resolutions :/
Santa brought me a full knee reconstruction and a few weeks off work.
Magic bullet sounds bike related but it's a juicer
santa got me a mach 6 in stealth carbon
I got a $30 no minimum spend voucher from the kind group at cycling express as I haven't shopped with them recently. Got myself a bottle cage and Camelbak Podium water bottle.
Great marketing strategy to have a no minimum spend... Granted, I never went above the voucher limit but I will shop with them in the near future for a new helmet and some lights... Santa's budget just couldn't stretch pre-Xmas.
Other than that I got now't for the bike!
Literally, and the chunder, thanks to the "gastro" that swept through Perth over Christmas. And being a real family occasion, every member got a can't-refuse invitation.
just picture the scene: Christmas Day, 11:30am, "Come on kids, time to get up and open the pressies!"
Reply: "Huuuurghhh, can't we stay in bed a bit longer?"
Ho,ho,ho... Crap, here I go again!
Definitely one we'll remember for years to come.
So Maaadness, if you're serious about these extra kg. I have the perfect solution to get rid of them swiftly and effortlessly (Hey, I didn't say painlessly). And you could use the opportunity to spray a fresh coat of binding agent on the sweet berms of the Marg Pines while you're at it
Cheers to all!
