Autumn

The season of change. Bosom buddy to the maturing sun.... Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store.

What ever the hell that means.

Welcome to Round #1 one the 4 Seasons 3hr series.

Ah, the end of the quarter, BAS, quarterly tax, paper work... But it wasn't always so.

Remember when life was simple? Remember when you rode your bike to have a good time?
When you rode because it felt good and the company you rode with and the tracks you rode were more important than having 1000 categories to choose from and a big list of swag to choose from.

Well CTMBC are taking it back.

We're stripping away all the hype and complications and just having a fun series of 3hr races celebrating the seasons.

The 4 Seasons is a series for riders. Sure racers are welcome and we expect some fast times on the track but the point of the series is to just get out there and enjoy it.

To keep things simple categories will be limited in the rounds. If enough people show interest in particular category we will sort something for series podiums.

Entry fees will be kept at $40 with discount for juniors.

Yeah entries on the day.
Was only getting 4 or 5 online entries last serries so didn't set the only up for this one.

Never been to Rydal to ride before, and will be riding my new Anthem Advanced 27.5" bike for the first time there. Only picking it up the day before. What sort of times are we looking on average to complete a lap? I'm 49 years old

Cheers

Steve

I'd guess to high 20s on average. Have a look at some of the tiwiight results for a gauge. We runa different version of the track each time but times are reasonably consistent in the low 20 for the fast guys, some of whom will view you as a young'un

Thanks for the info. See you there.

Hey Flynny, what's the probability we will be racing tomorrow?

Edit - I just noticed. Come Rain or Shine: I'll be there, no matter what the weather.

The "no matter what the weather" is the default option in the ride meeting set up.

Weather is looking pretty good at the moment. Chance of 5 to 10mm tomorrow which will only help the track
(2 weeks ago after a big down poor track was awesome for Tuesday racing. A dry week and this week was skatey)

Obviously if there is a unforeseen torrential down poor a judgement call will be made by organisers that considers best interest or track and rider safety.

So the weather decided to be worse than predicted. Phil is out at the track now and while it looked good this morning it it bucketing down now.

RadAr shows worse on the way so they have made the decision to postpone.

Will post up a new date once it is confirmed.

Sorry all
