Easton Haven Wheels- bearing spacer install kit if anyone has one?
Hi All,
I bought a set of Easton Haven's and subsequently read about the bearing issues they'd been having on the rear hub (I think some other eastons use the same hub/bearing setups).
I managed to get my hands on the Bearing replacement upgrade, but they didn't have the "BEARING DRIFT KIT 15 M1 BEARING SPACER – Part# 8004015 (This is the tool kit. Shops need just one of these)."
I was just wondering whether anyone else had received this- and has the drift kit/installation tools that I could borrow or buy? If so let me know (happy to pick up/pay postage or whatever is easiest)- or if anyone has (successfully) installed the bearing upgrade kit without the specific stuff please let me know.

When did you buy them? I thought that the new ones had been sorted for quite a while now.
I recently bought a 2nd hand bike with Havens fitted & Easton USA sent me a kit as their AU supplier hadn't stock.
If you only need the tools I have them but to be honest I'm sure that you could use sockets to press the bearings home.

i bought them literally a couple of weeks ago. Apparently they were meant to have already been sorted, but i'm guessing these were returned stock and had been re-sold (to me) in a new box. The packaging had a green sticker meaning the bearings had been upgraded, but the indicator on the actual hub was still the old version and therefore not upgraded....
I tried Easton USA who forced me through Sheppard Cycles as their AU distributor- who then put me onto a retailer in AU (Sheppard cannot sell direct to the customer). It was all a bit convoluted and frustrating- particularly as I got the bearing kit sent, just that they are out of stock of the install kit indefintely- and thus my request here!
I probably could do what you mention re sockets- but do not want to risk getting it wrong- and voiding my hub and starting all over.
I'll send you a PM re the tools and collection/postage.

Steven, what number is on the hub?
I was sent a little pack for the m121 - can't remember what's included. I didn't take too much notice because the hub I was sent was a m120 and therefore not upgradeable. Have manged to get the m120 to work quite satisfactorily so far by following eastons instructions on using locktite to stop the preload from loosening
Edit and same for the box having the green sticker on it, but still a 2 yr old product.
The hub model is m1-121...
The kit you got (depending how long ago you got it) would have bearings, spacer, adjuster and then 2 spacer blocks for pressing the bearings in
