Kinross XC 2Hr
The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.
Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.
Drive out from Orange on the Ophir Rd, before you reach the rubbish tip, turn right onto Bulgas Rd. Follow this about 2km to the forest (the road turns to gravel).
Note that the 'Directions there' google maps link below may not give the best route/destination. It seems that google maps ignores Bulgas Rd when selecting a route and gives the next closest spot. The 'Meeting point' link should be correct.
Sign on from 9:15 until 9:45. Race start at 10am.
This will be a 2 hour xc circuit race.

Hi all.
The K2hr on 17/8 will have a sign on of 9.15 to 9.45. It will be a 2hr with Juniors, Mens and Womens categories, starting at 10am. The event will include a sausage sandwich lunch. Track will be up TTT and down North shore with some other good bits in the middle. Stay tuned.
There's a bit of rain about. It only started here in Orange at about 5-6pm.... Here's what Al had to say:
"Kinross 2 hr still on. Hi all. The rain seems to have stayed further north and east so far. I'd prefer to make a final call on event progressing at 8pm tonight after watching abc weather. Stay tune"

Hi all.
After pretty steady rain overnight and continuing rain as I type today,s K2hr is off. Sorry for late notice. It would have been a shame to cancel unnecessarily but the rain has hit and isn't forecast to stop.
