Upgrade works to Woodford Oaks Mountain Bike Trail – section RE-OPENED

Works on a 2km single track section of the Woodford Oaks Mountain Bike trail are almost complete and the section of track which has been closed since March has now re-opened for use.

This section of the route has been rebuilt and re-routed to address severe erosion issues.
Bikers have been testing the new route since last week and we have been getting lots of enthusiastic feedback on the new works!
This section of track overall is graded as ’Blue – Intermediate’, with a number of ‘Black – Very Difficult’ features as options along the way, (which ‘Intermediate’ grade riders can avoid).

Upgraded section: - the lower 2km section of the route (single track) - from the helipad gate (near Euroka Road junction) to the end of the single track at Glenbrook Causeway car park.

This is part of our wider upgrade works in the precinct

Any feedback on the new works can be directed to BlueMtns.TracksProject@environment.nsw.gov.au

If you haven't sent some feedback please help out. (Simple thanks for the trail can do). This can be the difference of getting more new trails.
