I was looking at these about a year ago. Anaconda had them on their site but it was always 'no stick available'. Same situation in other shops. I suspect they've been held up in red tape regarding RTA laws and what not. Reviews online suggest they are pretty solid but don't hold your breath.

I have one and would buy another tomorrow if I lost it. It is easy to use, very stable while in transit and produces no damage to your bike even if it is covered in mud. It folds up easy once the bike/bikes are removed and has a inbuilt locking cable to lock your bikes to the carrier. It also has a locking mech to lock the carrier to the car but these would only stop the opportunist looking for a fast get away.

Think ill pick one up was considering the cheaper one that locks onto the frame but a few reviews have put me of
Looks like this is the one as thules are just stupidly expensive

I got one last friday. Seemed to be the best bang for buck out there. Main benefits were its super easy to use and no damage to bike.

Only issues are:
Lock wire is pretty short and thin. Use another lock if required.
No lights/indicators
No number plate holder
Takes some strength to lower rack (to enter boot) with 2 bikes on. 2 person job I guess.

Got mine yesterday had a play very easy to use my only bummer is I have a rav 4 there is no wAy to open the rear door even with no bikes on and the carrier in the fold down position
But I knew this would happen not a big problem

Thought the ratchet arms would have been lockable like my old Thule 591 pro rides
Seems sturdy enough with good fit and finish
