Meet At the Rydal Showground
The Sheep Station Fiddy K
People keep asking us what other riding is there at Rydal. And we keep saying heaps. But that doesn't seem to pacify them so we thought why not hook up a loop that takes in the usual XC single track and links it up with some of the other cool stuff out there and then bust out a 50km race.
Thus the Sheep Station Fiddy was born.

When you rode because it felt good and the company you rode with and the tracks you rode were more important than all the wank that sometimes comes with big races
Well CTMBC are taking it back.
We're stripping away all the hype and complications and just having fun but why we're at it let's throw in the much alluded sheep station

I missed out early in the year, keen for a crack in 2015. Only heard good things about this race.
It was a great race earlier this year Tim.
Hopefully I can get out there again next year.

Hi Craig , any chance of a FAT Fiddy K , which would really only be 25k
yep the is a 25k option you can enter on the day, entries from 10.30 12.00 start more single track this year,every entry goes into the end of year draw for a 6 day mtb trip for two to Rotorua nz

The course will comprise of a 25km laps and we've added some of the single trail we weren't able to last year. Obviously the Fiddy is two laps.

50k male
50k female
50k masters
25k male

Pairs male
Pairs Female
Pairs mixed
Pairs Junior
Pairs parent/child
Pairs
Pairs do one lap, riding together and they must cross the line together to get a time.
On the day entries open at 10:30 and close at 11:25.
Race starts at 12
Cut off for the 50k competitors to start the second lap is 2pm
Entry fees are
$50 for fiddy k
$30 for 25 k
$50 for pairs
Don't forget all entries to the Fiddy K get a ticket in the big give away

Being up on the ridge top in hard sandy soil Rydal drains unbelievably quick
Forecast is for sun tomorrow, cloudy Friday and sun Saturday. I'm predicting good race conditions
Couple of hours sunshine today and the trails are mint!
(Well a bit of work left for the saw and leaf blower but mudwise they are sweeeeeeeeet)
