Tuesday Night Racing at Rydal.
Women and kids under 16 get free race entry (License fees apply)
Also the come and try incentive is back too, so your first race with us is free.
If you could click the star to show your intention of coming so we get an idea of numbers that would be great.
6:30 race start so 5:30pm rego opens, if you are new or need to renew your license please turn up earlier rather than later.
We are fairly relaxed, A grade just means you do more laps and we encourage every one to have a go, we don't have podiums or prizes so it's about getting out there and competing against your own time and your mates.
So don't be intimidated by the "race" tag. We all just go out to do our best.
Doing the higher grade with more laps will gain you more series points.
There is a shorter track for juniors and we've had increasing numbers in u13s and u10s
Racing starts at 6:30pm
Kids Development
The Turrels have set up a junior development program utilising a mini trail in the show ground. Kids will be taught valuable mtb skills, racing tips and generally have a good time. Parents are welcome to walk or ride around with the younger kids to get their confidence up. Helmets must be worn at all times. There is no cost involved but a day license form must be filled out each week or a junior membership ($40 for U13s) needs to be taken out for the year.
First aid
,
There is first aid provision at the event centre but all riders are asked to carry a compression bandage as minimum, especially in the summer months
Lights
Lights are a must from outside day light savings and you wont be able to start unless you have atleast one working front light
We recommend at least a 5w halogen equivalent, Helmet mount yo help see around corners.
For the early weeks of day light savings lights are required for full race distance
