What's it worth?

Hi all,

So I have this stripped down Giant Trance 2 (29") frame that I'm considering just selling and buying a whole kit from scratch. I know I should probably pop this into the classified section - but I wanted an idea of what to charge before I listed it there...

I bought the bike brand new 6 months ago for $2K and stripped all the stock parts off for XTR. But now I've built a second bike - which will be my daily commuter to Perth city (work) and back and have put my XTR on that bike.

So now I have an as new Giant Trance 2 29" frame complete with both front and rear shocks (stock) and headset, stem, handlebars and seat / seatpole that's just sitting there in my shed doing nothing. I'm not sure whether to build it up with XT or just sell the kit and get a decent second hand kit already 'prepared earlier' as it were.

Here is a link to the original kit.

Any assistance in determining a fair price for it would be greatly appreciated Smiling

PS - I also have the wheels shown in the above link.

Thanks to all in advance...

If you've still got it, I'd be interested too. Have you decided how much you want for the frame and bits??

Hmm - this is my dilemma - I don't really have any idea of what to charge for it as I've no idea of it's worth.

I'll keep doing some research on it.

eBay completed listings is usually a reasonably accurate price guide.

Remember that it's buyers who set the price - sellers are always price takers.

this may help, assuming I have the correct model.

Ask high, let them come down if you like their attitude and you really want to get rid of the frame.
