DIY Carbon Repair Pt. 2

Snapped a pull shock a while back. Found a 2nd hand one but it's started to leak oil and is now waiting for parts from Europe and it will take time. So I thought I have a go at fixing the old one by building it up with carbon fibre.

8 Layers of carbon to build up the A-frame that snapped and one layer around the main cylinder to anchor it and then poor mans vacum bagging i.e freezer bag and duct tape.

Mounted it to test if it would work and amazingly it did. With a bit of carbon and epoxy, no special tools the old bike has been given a little bit longer to live. Just need to sand it smooth and paint it to make it look a bit neater.
